he seems to be healthy,
i just wondered if you thought so!

and also about how old is he?

the pet store we rescued him from (tehe) didn't know jackshit about chams. (they gave them water in a dish! and told us the exoterra glass terranium was perfect for him and he wouldn't outgrow it.. YEAH RIGHT)

we've had him about threeish to four months now!

he will hiss on occasion but other than that he is nice. and he only hisses when he's inside his cage and if you dont talk to him and reach for him calmly.

He looks OK. Interesting curve to his back. That guy needs the bigger cage you are building him pronto.

ooh man :(
you should REALLy see his spine.. ill take a pic in a minute..

it has a lump on it.. :( it doesnt seem to affect anything/ but its probably gonna be a vet visit..

Hi, thanks for the photos. He has a tiny bit of swelling in his gular area but in a photo, hard to tell. Do you see it there usually?

The bump could be a deformity that he hatched with. I have seen similar but often they grow out of it.

Can't really say for sure, but his eyes may be a tad bit sunken, but again, photos are hard to tell. He could just be a little scared from the photo. They will suck them in a little when they're stressed or upset.

He has pretty colors which I bet has to do with the humidity.

He's so big, he will love the new cage. Did I read somewhere that his enclosure is like 4' tall by 2' wide by 2' deep? If so, that's a good size. But glass is the problem.

Thanks for sending photos. It helps. Nice manicure!

yeh well we never noticed it when he was younger, but looking back at pics from the day we brought him home, the little curvature was there. just not very much.

i'm just hoping its a benign little cyst or something nonthreatening. he doesn't have any issues moving or anything.

He looks good. I would say he is in the 10-11 month range. His casque is gray... prolly going to shed it soon which is why I think he is in the 10-11 month range, still growing a bit.

People on here have shown pics of chams with little arches in the backs of their chams.

What kind of lights and cage are you using now?

As far as hissing. It isn't a great idea to hold the guy too much. They like to live alone and be alone  They should come out for inspection every couple of weeks but chams aren't like beardies and other lizards that don't mind being picked up.

Are you sure you are having trouble because you just hit the back button? So it won't recache the new posts?
If you can't see new posts, instead of posting spam like FFFFFFFFFFF, just try pressing the F5 button instead.

Anyways, did you switch that 100watt to a lesser wattage bulb yet? More people responded to your old thread.
