What do these markings mean? I just got my baby veiled chameleon yesterday.

Also important to make sure your basking temps, humidity, and supplements are on point. Most pet stores give the wrong advice for supplements.

Definitely better, but definitely not good enough to keep a chameleon alive and healthy.

Biggest issue is that you have the wrong UVB (as mentioned above a few times). The bulb you have right now will result in your chameleon developing metabolic bone disease (MBD) which is fatal. Not trying to be the Grim Reaper... just stressing to you that you need to make these changes ASAP.

As mentioned above, that moss needs to go. It is causing more harm than good.

Yes, I’m planning on getting the reptisun 5.0 long light this week I appreciate all the tips

Yes I just have one question about the humidity at night I’ve been turning out the light at 8. It’s currently 11 and his humidity is at 32 should I spray it? I heard your not supposed to at night.

A spike in night time humidity is actually a good thing. I'd go ahead and spray the enclosure. Just avoid spraying your chameleon directly so you don't disturb them.

Pretty sure in that enclosure the 10.0 is too strong, I mean search my posts and see what the "experts" here have told me. This person needs a 5.0 strength and needs to lower the plants so the chameleon has at least 6 inches from the UVB.. I mean Im no "expert" but just brought a veiled back from the brink due to burns.

You are correct, which is why I did not recommend the 10.0. They said above they are planning on getting the 5.0 so they are golden :)

Is it normal for my baby to be scared to eat the first week? He ate one cricket the first day one cricket the second day and everytime I put something up to him he runs. Is there any way I can get him to eat?

Put them in a Cup and set them somewhere in the enclosure where your Cham likes to hang out. Most likely scared of you not the crickets.
