What do I do?

Sancho

There is a breeder using Sancho's recent pictures that I took for their website claim "Sancho" as the sire to their babies. Which is retarded seeing Sancho has never been breed with any female nor has ever left my site unless he has been sneaking out at night sleeping around :D

So far they have sold 13 of these "Fake" sancho babies

I think you should report them to some one , Since they are using fake information. I would if someone was doing that to mine. Sorry .

I contacted them via email but haven't heard anything from them. I know it's a holiday weekend so I'm going to give them until Tuesday at the latest. let's just say we have heard a lot of negative things about this vendor before.

Brush up on some copyright laws : /

or seek legal advice if you wanna take it that far.

Copyright laws apply to you equally, but it may not be worth the effort/cost to pursue.
You should contact those responsible and ask that it be removed though.

I would be flattered! :)

they are misleading the public and lying i would not be flattered. if i found out the animal i was buying had no relation to said presented father.

as jojack said, Legal action may cost more to pursue the person then its worth, but it wouldn't hurt to see how much it would cost to at least get a cease and desist order sent. that shouldn't cost to much. they are stealing from you in a few aspects.

I meant if somebody thought my cham was so stunning that they chose to deceitfully use his image to sell theirs, Id be flattered.
Annoyed too, for the sake of those buying said animals who are being deceived, rather than some idea of being stolen from.
Any way of contacting the buyers? Maybe say you'd like to hear from buyers what they thought of the animals, have them 'vouch' for them or something, ask for contact details?
Unlikely, but not too much you can do, other than watermark your images in future.
If you put it online, it will surely be 'stolen'.

Contact them as a buyer , perhaps you can catch them red handed, and also talk to them about "legal matters"

Curiosity is killing me.

Contact a lawyer, see what can be done. Report their site to the webhost.

Perhaps some "persuasion" from the forum members will even get you an apology.

Well my feelings are if the image is being used and LYING to the customers about what they are buying, fair use etc. should NOT apply to him/her.

Just the fact they are being used to sell things (lying) is bad.

Get on it to Fauna BOI, immediately.

if said photography thief owns a registered business (I'm assuming you need some sort of license or adhere to a business code in one way or another) He/she is also violating a fraud offense, whether in regards to advertisement, or quality of sold animals ect. (it all depends on where you live and those specific legislation's)

To be honest you could do this....

Pretend to be a customer, ask for more photo's of the sire in different moods (flared up w/e) your motive is to basically see if he continues to take photos of yours and show them to you, or comes up with some lame excuse as to why he cant provide said photos. At this point you can catch him in the act and let him know you will be informing his customers/potential customers (if you know any) and large chameleon communities about his actions.

or

If you don't mind spending some money (If you have any lawyer or legal connections you can get away with presenting your case for free) you can gain legal advice, or just inform said "thief" you will be taking legal action.

You can just obtain legal advice and use scare tactics, but if he calls your bluff your only option is to send it through the legal system : /

you should tell them to send you one of these sancho babies since technically they are yours....:D
