A lot of instrumental TV theme songs had lyrics that were seldom—or (Thank Goodness) never—heard. Another of those better (best?) left unsung was the Bonanza theme...
It was sung by the Bonanza cast members for the end of the pilot episode, but (wisely?) deleted before airing...
It was also sung on an episode of Cheers....

Wow! Long ago I searched to replace my Scruffy the Cat cassette on CD and it seemed the band had just drifted into the aether. So very surprised to find, not just on YouTube, but Apple Music as well. Happy nostalgia for me!
