What A Nightmare!

Alright, so here is how my story begins...
I get home from work like usual on my lunch break. Thankfully, my work is really close to my home so I usually go home during lunch to eat and mist my new chameleon that I bought 2 weeks ago. So, I get done eating and go into my room and start misting my cage, not even paying attention to where Delilah, my veiled chameleon, is at. Usually at this point, my chameleon starts moving around cus shes not too fond of daily misting... I noticed her not moving around and looked everywhere for her. Then I noticed that her cage door was slightly cracked... Delilah is no where to be found, took both of the plants out looked all over her vines, shes gone. :( Now I start freaking out, I have 4 dogs that are not allowed in my room but I feared that she got out and maybe they got a hold of her. At this point, I have to find her so she does not get any further... So, I call work and tell them I have an emergency and cant come back...I look around all in my room and closet and still no where to be found. Finally, I look up at my light fixture randomly, which is suspended above my cage and there she is! Up on my light fixture just chillin and looking at me as im freaking out trying to find her... UGH! Soooo annoying...

They like to sit there and think "what are they lookig for?". It also seems like they will stay absolutely still so you go even more crazy looking for them.
