Wet Silkworm Eggs, Will They Hatch?

I accidentally got a bunch of silkworm eggs wet. As in soaked, and although I dried them off, they remained fairly wet for about 10 hours or so. (it was late and I was in a rush before going to bed).

Is this okay? Will they hatch? My first thought was....well they would get rained on in the wild...? but then I realized wild moths lay them on the underside of leaves, and silkworms are 'domesticated' .

To tell you the truth, it could go both ways. The problem with wet eggs is the humidity when hatching, which leads to mold, which leads to infection, which leads to larval death, which leads to your chams going hungry, which leads...well you get the idea.

As Ethen says, hurry and place the eggs on some paper towels to soak up all the moisture on the eggs, then put them back into a dry petri dish with a glue stick circle in the middle. It might affect your hatch rate a little bit, but you should be ok.
