Wet/Possibly Contaminated Calcium with D3?

So I went to hang with my family for the memorial weekend and used my large dripper system....but stupid me also left the bottle of calcium with d3 in my bag in the tray where all the dripper water leaked off the live and fake plants and through the soil and down into the tray which got in the bottle and soaked it...cheap question i know, but am i better off just buying a new bottle since something bad coulda gotten into it or can i dry it out and how if so?

I know this may sound dumb but im just trying to be cost effective but not at the risk of getting my animals sick, so if there is even a chance ya'll think the calcium could be bad, ill get a new bottle. it wasnt sealed but the lid was on and it soaked all the powder...

man no on ever comments back on my posts or threads...is it the name? are my questions stupid? is it because Im new? please come on people...im a cham lover too...

Your question is a bit confusing, if I might say. I'm not really sure what happened.

"bottle of calcium with d3 in my bag in the tray where all the dripper water leaked off the live and fake plants and through the soil and down into the tray which got in the bottle and soaked it" Completely confusing

After re-reading it over a few times, it appears to me that you soaked your calcium powder.

I would definitely replace it if that is the case. It would not be possible to coat your feeders sufficiently unless it is very powdery. (And since it is Calcium + D3, I am assuming you only use it 1 or 2 times per month)

correct, ive already used it this month, and i figure its relatively inexpensive so ill just get more...not worth drying it out and having it contaminated and hurting my veiled....he's too precious...thanks for the feedback, it feels like since im new here no one wants to talk to me...i dont bite! and my veiled doesn't either! haha!

and sorry for the confusion, basically i have a crown royal bag i keep all my supplements in normally and i just happened to only have the d3 in it and left the bag in the tray where my cage sits on...long story short, i was gone all day, used the dripper system and it flooded the tray a bit and got the calcium with D3 wet, so im gonna pitch it.

thanks! the calcium w/o the d3...im supposed to be dusting every time i feed even when gutloading crickets...correct? please let me know if im wrong...i know the multivitamin and calcium w/ d3 are only 1-2 x a month but the other one im not too sure on...my buddy seems healthy as can be

That stinks! What a waste of a perfectly good supplement. But I'd be worried that the water dragged through some poop or something, so you wouldn't want to supplement your poor boy with essence of poo!

And yes, you can use the plain calcium at every feeding.

ya, thats exactly what i was thinking, the water was contaminated by the soil or some poop and its just not worth it, its only like 5 bucks so ill just get a new bottle..but ya, what a wast!
