Waxy Monkey Frog Care

I have been interested in getting a waxy monkey frog and had a few questions. Can I house one in a 10 gallon cage and how much would one cost any other info on their care will be appreciated :)

I had one for a few years. I kept it in a cage that was about 24" x 15" x15" (sorry I'm no good at gallons). I had a basking area at one end, a UVB light running along the screen lid, branches of various sizes for it to sit/climb on and a water container about 2" deep.

I kept the basking area in the low to mid 80'sF...and the rest of the cage was slightly cooler. There was no heat on it at night but the room temp. never fell below 68F.

Which kind of waxy monkey are you talking about?
Numerous frogs go by that name and most if not all are not suitable for a 10 gal tank

I have a pair of waxy monkey tree frogs, and have had them for about two years now and I am going to breed them soon. They are hilarious to watch wax themselves and hunt crickets at night. One thing is for sure, be careful with water because as ridiculous as it sounds they can drown. I have a food dish and put water in it so it isn't that deep, they crawl down and sit in it when they are a little too hot.

A little off topic, but since I plan to breed them soon I will keep an ongoing thread for people to follow and learn from. I am very excited to see how this goes, I have been studying up on it for quite some time!
