just wondering if Aquarium water conditioner has the same effect as
reptisafe water conditioner ??I usually just boil the water and let it cool but,
I have like five different bottles of the Aquarium Water Conditioner laying
around and didn't know if they serve the same purpose.

I believe it is the same product.
I don't condition the tap water here, but I know that
in some areas the water is not as good or has higher levels of chlorine.
I would feel comfortable using the de-chlor product that you have.

edit: as long as it's not a product that does anything besides de-chlorinize.

I agree, stay away from products that add slime coat or have organic ingredients. They are known to be bad for fish by gumming up gills, so I certainly wouldn't want my cam ingesting it.

Here are the bullet points from a bottle of reptisafe instant terrarium water conditioner for drinking water.

-instantly removes chlorine and chloramines
-removes ammonia and helps prevent its accumulation
-adds essential electrolytes (including calcium)
-stimulates slime coat development providing a natural protective barrier for all tyes of amphibians
-reduces ph

I have 4 fish tanks and breed several species and never experienced any "gumming up gills".
