Is it OK to use repthisafe in water for drip system or misting

I have never used it. I always just use distilled water for everything

I use distilled also. People in the pet store just try to sell you extra. Most of the time.

you can take the distilled then run it through a filter and take out the extra stuff that's left in there just to be safe if you want to

Distilled is pure, about as pure as you can get. It is water that was heated and the steam that escapes is captured, it condenses, and this is distilled water. All minerals and pollutants are left behind, when it evaporates, as does chlorine. Chlorine, if you insist it's in there, will gas off, if you leave the lid off your water bucket for a couple days. With distilled water, this is not needed.
