Water crystal help!!

I'm not sure of the exact measurements, but I put a small amount in a Tupperware with some water. I would put a little in and keep adding as to not do too much. Of course you don't have to do it that way, but I just like to avoid accidents.

I don't make a gallon at a time, I have a lot of crickets and I use a large deli cup or something about a quart size and use about 2 level tsp. Don't fill your container with water or you'll have wet water crystals going over the side. Fill the water up about 3/4" to start. Let them soak in, then add more water. They can absorb quite a bit of water and I believe in making them as wet as can they they can get. After using about 1/2 container, I add more water (about 1/2 c) etc. until the water doesn't absorb any more, then I just keep using it until it's all gone. You can also just add a big more crystal.

Yeah that's how I've been doing it, just didn't know if anyone knew exact measurements to a gallon I guess I'll keep experimenting
