I know veileds are heavy on basking.....but my male 1.5 yr is usually brown with some green and light yellow.... Whenever I feed him he will color up, or if I take him out of the enclosure....I have a reptiglo 5.0 linear tube and 2 lights....one for ambiant light and one that's a 90 degree basking light....is there anyway to make him less of a constant drab color? It's not stress coloration it's just absorbs ion coloration. Or should I just except that because this is a hotter climate species this is just natural for them? I use d3 every 2 weeks....a multivitamin every 2 weeks and regular calcium 5 days a week...crix are gut loaded aswell
