Vet visit for Elliot's

First off my reptile vet is awesome! He is a chameleon enthusiast just like us.
I didn't ask about his collection but he brought up the topic about parson and rare Cham that were imported back in 80s that he had.
He was inspecting my girl and I told him that she just recently started closing one eye and same things with the 13 babies she had. She weighs 14 grams.
He was looking at her eyes and he said the third eye lid seemed to be a bit irritated. He said he's not familiar with the species and I told them where their from and he looked at a couple books and he said most likely its not having high enough humidity.
On top of that he said that buying WC is a big risk because of how hard it is to replicate their natural environment.
she was treated for parasites and I got eye drops for her eye(s).
Next week the boehmei goes in for check up, didn't have enough money to take both of them.

i just want to say,
good job by you, providing your clan with such excellent care!
and it is always nice to find a vet that has such passion.

Yes I think he was quite impressed because I'm 15 and he was shock that I had a species like this instead of a veilded or panther like most he's sees.
He also wanted me to get a CB population going, he said that would be great if I did.

Hopefully this will help cure the little ones problems. Looks like its time to start figuring out a way for you to up the humidity. The boehmei wont mind it but the reason you are not seeing the eye problems with him is because they are a "sub montane" which do see lower drops in humidity during certain seasons in the wild than species like ellioti. Glad you got some solid info from a good vet!

Yah want me to mimic the seasons the best I can and try getting the humidity up to 60% or higher. Hopefully this is a cure
