Sounds like a plan!
now i have reassurance and can feed linus some wild bugsi figured if i couldnt find a place to do a fecal..he wasnt getting any wild insects cuz i didnt wanna chance parasites :/ but this summer he shall be feasting! (on pestiside free, safe insects of course)
Haha of course. i hope they allow it. im sure if you next day air or something it could work.
hopefullyand if not, maybe i could ask the vets that are too far away for me, and ask them if i could mail it, even if they had to meet linus once, i would be content..
Yea. The vet I called, said that I dont have to bring them in, and Ive never been there before.
Just said I had to bring in the poo, and fill out the new patient paperwork. said if they arent busy, it would only take like 15 20 minutes.
I would only have to bring them in if one of them tests positive.
That's the way it should be. I understand if the pet is sick and they can not give you medications without seeing the pet... But there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to do fecals. I have a vet that does fecals for $20. Something you might consider is learning to do fecals yourself and get your own microscope and supplies to do them. Its really not that hard at all.![]()
