Vet check?

Hi there,
there's another newbie question for you guys.
Shall I take my cham to a vet just to check that everything is fine? She seems healthy, eats, poops, sheds well.
It would be very stressful for her (as she just moved home and she doesn't really trust me), but I'd take any other new animal for a check just to be sure. Ta

I don't but I know some people do. What I do though, is periodically I will take a poop to the vet and have a fecal done. I am established with my vet now so he will do it without seeing the chameleon. In the beginning he would not, but once I became a customer he was ok with it. Some vets will do fecals cheaply without seeing your chameleon. It is good to have them done every so often because sometimes they can have parasites and you do not even know it until they become very ill.
