Diego has his 1st vet appt tomorrow at 5 months old, panter chameleon...
I'm taking him for a over check up plus posible eye issue, poss. dehydration & maybe poss. sperm plugs (eww). Also gonna try for a fecal sample sometime soon. Any pointers on travel or suggestions if he might needs meds on what is best for what for chameleon would be greatly appreciated. His doctors office only has 1 doctor there that sees reptiles but is not specialized in them.
I'm planning on taking him in a tupperware container (gonna put some holes in the lid), putting some paper towels in the bottom for cushion & warmth. Should I cover around the outside of the container w/ a towel to keep it warmer, also maybe less stressful for him or let him see out (kinda... one of the semi transparent containers). Temp outside w/ be about mid 50's... so I'm gonna warm up the car first.
Is there anything else I should know, do different or know about possible meds that could be prescribed? TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!
