Veiled Wet or Dry Shed?

I've heard mixed reviews on whether veileds like humidity or dry air to shed. I've been operating under the assumption they are more dry-shedders, but my boy takes a while and there are usually flakes left behind.

I do keep an eye on his tail and toes and eyes to make sure the shed doesn't constrict.

Any advice appreciated.

Pic attached is day 2, maybe 3 depending on if we count from 'first signs of shed' vs 'he is shedding some chunks'.

Veileds should have 30-50% max during the day. 100% at night. No humidifier running into the cage during the day.
They are dry shedders. Do not up humidity or spray them directly. As they mature they shed in patches. It can take a bit longer for pieces to come off. If there is a prolonged issue with shedding then feeder, supplementation, and gutloading should be evaluated.
