Veiled open mouth

ok, so I know I’ve already posted today, but I walked into my chameleon room and my chams mouth was open. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t aggressive as there was nothing else in the room at the time, and he didn’t have his worth open as much as he could. I think it might be the temperature being too high, so I’m trying to cool the cage down. Could it be something else?

I been having the same problem or it could be that the humidity is not at the proper level

Meh mouth gaping is normal if its just half way open. Its built in air conditioning for their head. Its not too hot, they are just too lazy to move to the cool spot. Move a foot or open mouth, which would you decide?

Is he leaving it open for a period of time or just opening it? Sometimes they open there mouths to break outta there old skin

He’s just opening it for a few seconds at a time
