Veiled Hatchlings

Dez

Chamalot Chameleons
The day before my birthday my veiled eggs laid in December started to pip and sweat.

I am very excited because these little ones are the offspring of my veiled Daigan. Daigan was my first ever chameleon and was 4 years old, I had had him since he was a few months old. He was full of such personality and enjoyed coming out of his cage. Since he was my first ever cham he was very special to me and still is.

Daigan somehow caught some sort of mouth infection unlike anything my vet had ever seen before. I thought for sure I had got him to the vet in time before he got too bad..his symptoms where very mild, he just seemed off... However even with treatment and all my efforts I lost my poor guy. :(

But good thing is he will live on in his offspring! I hope his sons take ofter him and his wonderful personality.

Here are the little daigans.... We have had 10 hatch so far.

Thanks for looking :)

they are so adorable and they have such pretty markings already! Good looking papa too! I can't believe how they are so ready and willing to explore so young.

oh forgive me please! I did not really read the captions and was just looking at the pics. I am so sorry you lost your male veiled. I commented on how nice looking he was. I did not see that he passed away. Like you said, he will live on in his offspring. Again, my condolences.

Thanks He was a beautiful big boy. I am happy I decided to breed him because now I have all these beautiful little babies... I am going to want to keep them all! :)

Congrats on the baby! Daigen (sorry if I misspelt his name) looks gorgeous, also sorry for your loss, he must have been one of the greatest chams ever!

Congrats Dez! Daigan was a gorgeous boy! Some people just don't realize the personality that veileds can have. His little babies are just so cute. The colors are awesome. I had one stripe baby like that. You will love them all and it's always hard to part with them.

Anna looks great! I can really see Camille in her. :) Thanks for posting her picture.

They all came out stripped like that! But then have since turned green now they are settled in

Anna is getting a bit of an attitude

Hopefully the little green dolls will be much like their father, any one of them you chose to keep will keep a part your loved cham in your life. Congrats.

Awww! The pic of them escaping across the table made me laugh! They are totally adorable - it makes me want to go ahead and breed Amy and Tommy even more!! I would be the same though and would definitely want to keep all of them!:D
