So basically I'm a new forum member looking for some expert and professional advice, about our Gecko Rescue Office's newest mascot.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled Chameleon, Male "I think I see small Spurs", From what I was told this little guy is only 2 weeks old
Handling - I have not handled him yet to lessen the chance of stress.
Feeding - Im feeding a mixture of fruit flies and phoenix worms "extra small", twice daily, a total of about 8 to 10 insects.
Supplements - Sticky Tongues Vitamin, and reptical
Watering - 3 Heavy mists throughout the day with dry out periods between. Yes he is definitely drinking.
Fecal Description - Brownish solid with a small amount of liquid. Has not been tested yet.
History - No history
Cage Info: 10 Gallon Vertically oriented and a conversion with screen front
Cage Type - Glass 10 Gallon
Lighting - 60 watt Regular house bulb for basking, reptisun 5.0
Temperature - Basking is low to mid 80's bottom is 75-74, lowest night temp is high 60's low 70's, Digital thermometer
Humidity - Ranges from 70-80 then drops to about 50-60 for the dry out period.
Plants - No
Placement - At the moment it is located on an ikea coffee table near a window.
Location - Pittsburgh Pa
Current Problem - So the problem is I saw this dot that kinda looks a scab and just want experienced members to take a look for themselves to throw me any information I can use. We're not used to chameleons we only rescue Geckos and this is our first cham. I work from my computer at home during the day and have been overseeing just about everything that happens with him.
PS: In the photo where it is kinda dark he is sleeping.
Thanks ahead of time!
