Veiled colors

I was just wondering if anyone has a veiled chameleon with orange yellow and blue in their pigment or do i have some sort of hybrid? I have heard of the high yellows with males and some orange but my female shows signs of all three colors at once. It's really cool and i will post some pics when i catch all the colors together if anyone can show off their veiled chams so i can compare would be great.

Those colours you are talking about are her sexual maturity (adult) colours. My female veiled Carmie started getting faint blue and orange around 6 to 7 months and now they really pop out occasionally. Ive added the best pic I could find of her showing some colours.

These can also be colors indicating that she is gravid; you should probably get together supplies to be prepared for if she needs to lay eggs! Searching around on the forums for gravid/ egg bearing females should yeild some results! Good luck!

She is receptive. Will start to develop eggs if not mated. Be sure to set up a laying bin for her even if infertile.

With the male you have some sort of 'morphs'

check out google on sunburst and turquoise. You will find males with extreme yellow/ornage or blue colors. The babies of turquoise I've seen show blue as well so it's not only seen when they are adults.

It's unreal how much, your Carmie and my Mia are a like. That pic is like looking at one of Mia, i think they are long lost sisters, maybe even twins. :D lol

If i never show my female cham a male cham could she possibly lay infertile eggs? (im already setup for it if it does happen) If she is receptive

I think she may be receptive. How old is she? How much and how often do you feed her? What temps do you keep her at? Females do lay infertile clutches even if they never see a male. Feeding her less and keeping her cooler you should not have to worry with eggs BUT keep a laying box in with her anyway just incase. My female laid her first clutch at 14 months old.

I don't know exactly how old she is and she eats about 4-6 large crickets a day maybe less and her temps are at high 85 and at low points 70
