I just bought a veiled chameleon today, Its a girl. I haven't decided on a name yet. she's gotten adjusted to her cage wonderfully. I have friends with chameleons so I decided it was my turn :) although I wanted a baby one she's only 5 months

Conrats to you. I would do a lot of reading on her. Their is some great Veiled info. Also lots of info on breeding, laying bin and so forth.

Im new, so im finding my way around slowly. lol im definitely going to do as much reading as I can :)
Does anyone have any pointers tips or tricks they would like to share?
Also, right now I have fake plants I want to get live one soon
what are some good live plants for chameleons?

Welcome to the forums. I keep veileds. They are awesome chameleons with so much personality. The links above are great and I also wanted to add a couple of my own blogs attached below and a video by Dez on how to make a laying bin. Females can and often do lay eggs without a male even being around so I recommend keeping a laying bin in the enclosure at all time after they reach the age of 5 months.

You should start a new thread for better response. This thread is from a few years ago. (I don't have an answer for you, but you could check the classified section or see if any forum sponsors ship in Canada this time of year.)
