Veiled chameleon sunken eyes?

Hello, I have a veiled chameleon, about 7-8 months old. For about 4 days now he hasn't eaten crickets, or meat worms. The big concern is that his eyes are semi-sunken in! and he doesn't open them like he use to. The humidity levels are about 60%. He is in a 24x24x48 mesh cage. He was in a 12xx12x18 cage so now he has much more room. I would think he would be much happier but after being in there for about 2 weeks he's become very sad. What should I do? I am definitely taking him to the vet this week but until then what should I do?

The biggest problem I see is people not giving their chameleons enough to drink and temps too hot. I would start giving him long showers. Give him plenty of opportunity to drink and make sure your temps are not too high.

Some times moving a chameleon will stress them out. Not have any places were it could hide and be alone. But I agree up the water intake of ur cham and maybe try some new food that would interest it
