Veiled chameleon shedding

So my veiled chameleon just started to shed. Is,this a sign of maturity or stress?

Hes not mature quite yet hes just growing. Your little guy isnt stressed but he will act a bit differently until about 2-3 days after shedding. my jacksons goes on a hunger strike.

The younger they are the more frequently they shed. Usually whole body sheds. It is a growing thing.

Mines shedding right now also. About 3 days before his shed he was very dark colored and cranky. I thought he was ill or something so I took him out and checked him over and he was alot more cranky then normal he was like a woman at that time of month lol. I saw there was nothing wrong with him so I put him back and the next day he really started to show his shed and has been shedding for almost 3 days now. I believe that he is almost done. I turned his monsoon system up to be more frequent to aid him in his shed which seems to have worked. Now that he's almost done his colors are super bright again. I'm going to give him a few days before I take him out again to see if his attitude has gotten better. This is my first experience seeing a chameleon shed.

It just means he's growing

My Veiled, Ender, took like 3 hours to shed his whole head, then like 4 days to do the rest of his body... moving around, scratching against everything he could find that would help take it off.

Lots of mistings and general hydration is very important to help him shed.
