veiled chameleon humidity

what is the desired humidity level for a male veieled chameleon. i have been keeping the humidity at about 50-60% humidity, some places on the internet says that is too high or too low. it usually peeks to upper 70s durring misting sessions. thanks

Sounds like the perfect humidity range to me.

Normal: 40-50%
Misting: 70-80%+

As long as the humidity returns to the normal 40-50ish range, you should be more than fine.
