veiled casquet

ok,so i have seen lots of male veiled chameleons with straight casquet.
mine has the front of it curved.
why so many have straight casquests?

I think it's just a matter of variety within the species, some are straight, some are not. Of course, if I am wrong, someone here will say something. This board is very knowledgeable.

well thats a 2 month old pic,i try to upload some recent pics and get some oppinions on how he looks.
2 weeks ago he developed a small dump that wont grow - kinda worries me but he acts normal
