veiled casque

my veiled looks like he might have fell while in his cage because now he has a dent in the middle of his casque and a scare like dent near the tip not sure from what.... concerned because he didnt have them when i got him... maybe he needs a bigger cage he still has the 16x16x20 he is about 7 months old and about 10-10 1/2 inches long does he need the upgrade now????

He could use a bigger cage, maybe a 16x16x36, or even a 24x24x48.
Other than that I'm not sure.

Hmm. The dent can be from many things. The fall is a possibility but i have seen chameleons with MBD and their casque has dents to. If you don't mind..can you tell us your calcium schedule and what you use? Also for a 7 month old male veiled..i think he is ready for a big boy cage. 24x24x48

week A mon-fri cal w/o d3 sat herptivite multi vitamin
week B mon-fri cal w/o d3 sat cal d3

plus I have a Reptisun 5.0 and sits under it most of the day I feed him crix that I gut load with carrots
