UVB light?

Hello Chameleon ppl,
I am not new to the site I have been checking out this site. But now I am needing some help. I got two questions to ask 1 is my Chameleon Renfeild has been keeping his left eye close but will open it if he needs to. And I know why he has been keeping it close I got him some hornworms and I was trying to force feed him one but I think the hornworm bite his eye lid or something. That happened three days before christmas and he has improved some but still wont keep his eye open like before. And my next question is I moved his UVB light to the side of his cage and added one more light. But with me moving this light could it hurt him in anyway? I don't want to hurt his other eye and have a blind Chameleon because of my stupidity.
His background is about five months I got him back in Oct. For my birthday and I was guessing his was atleast three months than. His food is crickets about ten of them, 4 butter worms which he eats every other day and to finish it off one or two phoenix worms.
Ok thank you for reading this and sorry for any miss spelling and grammar your friend Zac.

It could be the light that is stopping him opening the eye now. Chameleons need uv from above them like they would have in the wild. Having uv at the wrong angle to their eyes can cause problems so best to move it back to the top :).

If he's shedding his eye may have some skin on it or its ready to peel hence why his eye may be closed. It could just be irritated. Can you post a pic of his eye?
