My problem and question for you guys is, i have a local electronic retailer around, selling all kinds of Fluorescent tubes, and i want one for him and for the live plants i'm gonna move him to this week.
My question now, as a newbie, and as he has all kinds of tubes even the T5 and T8 of different voltages, WHAT type of light shall i choose and what voltage? Warm, Cold or White light for the Fluorescent light?
and if so, what voltage? is it 54W enough for my lil one?
Ps : they even have black light

In my fixture I use T5 24w bulbs. 6% uvb and the others are full spectrum grow lights. Please make sure you get the uvb bulb!
i'll get it as soon as i settle this thing

And as for the temperature of the bulb? warm, white or cold light for it?

I use a UVB bulb and a 6500K grow light in a dual (2 bulb) fixture so my plants will grow. So you would need the rece to grow plants in your cage with your chameleon.

I would get a T5 type linear bulb those are not the best and only out put a small area of UVB.

Well as i know i have to have a UVB for the plants and for the lil guys to avoid MBD, and i need a light for his basking spot, so the cold light linear one will do the trick for the plants and the MBD problem, and for the heat, i can get any regular big wattage bulb ? i have a 75W now on him, he seems pretty beachy under it. shall i stick with it and just grab the linear?
p:s sorry for being so nosey but i really want the best conditions for my lil one.
