Unfertilized Eggs

Female Veiled Chameleon approx 2 yrs 4 months old. This was her 3rd clutch of unfertilized eggs.

The first 2 clutches went smooth. She gave us plenty of warning signs a week or so before she started to dig... restlessness, not eating as much, didn't poop. She took about 12 hours to dig and then layed overnight and by the time we woke up in the morning she had finished covering them back up and was under her heat lamp.

This time we had no warning signs. She ate 3 medium crickets Friday morning and then had a long drink as usual. I checked on her again in the afternoon and she was down in the small container of dirt i leave in the bottom of her cage. I quickly got her large dig box together, coaxed her out of the little container and got the big one in the bottom of the cage. She went back up to the top of the cage and did not return to the bottom again that day. Saturday she was in the dig box by noon and continued digging well into the night. At 6am I took a peek in and she was just kicking around the final bits of dirt and by 9am she was at the top of her cage under her heat lamp. Fed her a few crickets and gave her a long mist. I quickly checked to see if there were in fact eggs in the dirt before I had to run out the door... I didn't take the eggs out of the dirt, just covered them back up and had to leave. I came home 2 hrs later and she is down in the dirt again! I think she is just trying to cover them up better but I'm concerned!! :( It looks like shes just moving dirt around. Should i let her continue for her own piece of mind? Or should I take the dig box out?

I'm mostly concerned that maybe she didn't lay them all for some reason...
