Took out egg, accidentally flipped it 60-90 degrees

Any possibility it will be ok?
How do you check for yolk detachment?

I think I may have just killed a baby gecko. :(

edit: eggs were found this morning... will not be handling eggs after waking up anymore.

If they had been laid last night you are probablly fine (no guarantee). I have moved eggs a couple days after laying and they still hatched. Hope this helps

Odds are it might not have hatched anyway.

First and second year females for me usually have a 50% or less hatch rate.

After that it is 100%

There is a chance that you might have put it exactly how it was, I did the
exact same thing once and the egg hatched, I was lucky that I got it back
in the same position it was before I flipped it.

Great points, Brock..

You bred Rhacs? (Must have forgot or you never told me)

I am pretty sure I put it back the way it was.. if not, argh, I have a baby gecko death on my conscious.
