Trees

I have mentioned in a couple of threads of our plan to build a new enclosure for our veiled. I have been looking for som ewood structures to have in the middle, to surround with plants, something like a mini tree shape. Anyway, i havebeen struggling to find what i wanted, so thought "what about a small tree" - what trees (not plants) are ok to use? Would something like a small apple tree be good? Or a lemon tree?

Try B&Q. I know you said 'tree', but they had some tall ficus plants and Pothos plants which might do you for now. As for trees, I know apple is safe cos I use branches for Bubble and Lily, but other than that I can't help, sorry!

Wish I had room for each of my chams to have a tree but they have to take turns free ranging, poor sad little chams:(:(:(

I already have 2 large ficus, just thought a tree might give lots of climby fun!

I searched for a 'tree' for Lily to have in her outdoor cage, but gave up looking when I didn't find anything suitable. All the trees I saw were either too tall or too flimsy and nowhere near 'branchy' enough. In the end I cut some apple branches from my Auntie's apple tree and used those instead. She's also got some cotton rope bird perches in there too. The only other thing I can think of is to buy an artificial tree or 'branchy' type plant to go alongside the live ones.

I found a really nice driftwood sculpture, that had loads ofbranches and was 120cm tall, but it was £120, so not sure if i want to spend that.

how about a tree from citrus family?

I just bought a small lemon tree, as i thought it was cute, and was wondering if that is possible? I'm just brainstorming really. I have an idea of what the enclosure will look like in my head, it's just finding the stuff now! :D
