That would be awesome. I’ve never kept monitors, but I’d really like to. My thinking is to try and get an ackie or tree monitor sooner than later to learn monitor language a bit. Then maybe 10+ years from now, given the space, try to set up an Asian water monitor enclosure. Their intelligence is supposed to be almost mammal-like.No not yet. The family Varanidae is epic though. I aspire to have a rooms size enclosure (along with Calumma parsonii parsonii) to keep a breeding pair of Crocodile Monitors (Varanus salvadorii). Just a general life history Crocodile Monitors are longer than Komodo Dragons and are an arboreal species.

Varanus salvadorii could be said is a "Super Sized" Tree Monitor from Papua New Guinea. That would be awesome. I’ve never kept monitors, but I’d really like to. I am not considering buying a pair of Varanus salvadorii till I have got my own place. Right now a Calumma parsonii parsonii pair in the greenhouse is higher a priority. These days I am just extremely busy.So when you getting them?!
Gotcha man, the monitors are really a next level of care too when it comes to reptile husbandry. More like a scaly mammalI am not considering buying a pair of Varanus salvadorii till I have got my own place. Right now a Calumma parsonii parsonii pair in the greenhouse is higher a priority. These days I am just extremely busy.
I am going to the Sacramento Reptile Show this September. Something could happen there.
