Not sure if this is the right section, but it’s for a non cham.
Recently got a toad ranch enclosure. Love it, but it’s gigantic (10’x4’). I needed the roof support brace (basically a small thinnish metal brace that runs parallel with the 4’ portion). I realized a little too late after buying my lighting that the brace ends up running through the middle of my UVB if I use the mounting brackets that arcadia includes (the ones that basically make the light flush with the inside of the ceiling).
Does anyone have any good solutions for hanging an arcadia light an inch or so down so that there’s some space between it and the ceiling? If so, I’d love to hear how yall have done it. I’ve literally spent hours scouring then internet for a solution & found nothing. It’s for a tortoise so I’m not too worried about him getting to it so long as it’s secure & won’t fall lol
