Traveling with the Chameleon...

Hi everyone,

Just curious if anyone has had any experience bringing their chameleon with them when they go somewhere for a couple of days. Right now I am in the process of setting up a reliable misting system (Just ordered the HerpMist today), so I am a little leary about leaving my chameleon alone, with just the HabbaMister for three days. I don't really trust it. Is it bad to bring the little guy with me for the weekend, when we go to my inlaws? They are about an hour and a half away. I have one of those expandable circular cages, which is huge BTW, and plenty of extra materials that I can use in it. I just wasn't sure if it would be too stressful for the little guy. I'd like to hear people's opinions. thanks

personally, i say a short trip is okay, we go to lake cumberland, and i'd often take my young chameleon james with me, he'd get slightly stressed but within an hour he was all back to normal. i say it would just depend on the terrain along the trip and how far it is, anything over 3 hours and i say no, just my opinion.

I too travel with my little guy. He loves ridding and does great on trips.
