i live in michigan and its been about 40 degrees outside this whole week
my boyfriend just got a house thats only a 4 minute drive from where he lives now and is planning on moving there sometime this week
i was wondering what would be the best way of transporting our chameleon there
i tried to search other threads for an answer but didn't find any that were much help
should we put him on one of his jade plants in a box with a wet paper towel and then put blankets around it or something to keep him warm?

Will you have your heat on in the car?
I wouldnt worry to much if the heat is on.
A cardboard box or paper bag should be fine.
Ditch the wet paper towel.
You can put a branch on the inside, but some people say dont to that.
They have a chance of getting banged up inside with a branch.
Some dry paper towels on the bottom is fine.
If it is dark inside they will sleep they whole way.
A veiled can take the cold pretty good if the car is warm inside.

i live in mi to and we just moved all our chams to a new house as well. just make sure the cages at the new house are set up and the heat in the car is on and just put them in a shoe box with some dry paper towels and they should be just fine. good luck.
