Too small a cage?

I had read somewhere that a good starter cage for a juvenile up to about 6 or 9 months old was a 16x16x20 under the theory that too big a cage would make it hard for them to hunt if they were small. Now I am reading and reading and thinking that I may have gotten too small a starter cage. I plan on getting a panther around 3 or 4 months old. Should I return the small cage I have and go up a size?

A 6 to 9 month old should be close to or have an adult cage 24"×24"×48". I know stark did at 7 months and but I cup feed

Fiona is a 7 month old veiled...and she too is outgrowing her cage. She is getting her new one when we return from vacation. In the mean time she gets to go outside for some extra exercise ons a day....supervised of course.:ROFLMAO:
