Can chameleons have too much uvb? My room stays fairly cold so charma likes to hang out at the very tippy top of her tank where the basking bulb is, the uvb light is next to it. Is it too close to her?

They're nothing fancy. Just a plain uvb bulb, it doesn't even give off much heat. No, at least not with the usual bulbs you are using. If someone had a very very intense desert level UV bulb possibly. Placing the UVB bulb next to the basking heat means that your cham will absorb both at the same time.

Even if she touched the screen, it's not hot enough to burn her. I'm more concerned about too much uv rays, but I guess if they live in trees, they get a lot
I'm not sure. I'll have to check the bulb tonight after her bed time. The amount of usable UV our indoor lighting creates isn't as powerful as full sunlight...again, unless you happen to be using a high powered desert type bulb.
