Too cold at night

Ive just moved a few days ago and its so cold after i turn the lamps off at night the thermometer goes down to 16c and if i stand next to the enclosure in shorts an tshirt i feel very cold is this something i need to do anything about?

Nope, this temperature is perfectly fine for a night temp. In fact, it is better for them to have a drop in temps at night.

i have a heat mat on a timer to come on for an hour every two or three hours during the night if its cold.or you could look at getting a ceramic heat emitter.steer away from coloured night bulbs as any light can disrupt a chams sleep.however 16c sounds like a safe night time drop

Yea, this is fine, even for a young chameleon. Adults can withstand drops down to even 10 C without needing additional heat, as long as they can warm back up in the morning.
