Hello, so I have a Veiled Chameleon who is healthy but just a bit overweight. I notice that sometimes, maybe every few weeks?, he has something coming out of his anus. It disappears the next day or maybe a few days after but I have no idea wether it’s a bad thing and needs attention from vets? Or if it’s normal.

That is a sperm plug and it’s completely normal. Just as their bodies shed, their hemipenes do the same and the shed skin usually comes out when they poop. Often they just rub it on a branch to get it out/off when it’s like that. It is possible that they can become a problem if your guy can’t shed it out properly, in which case a vet would be needed.
