There's got to be a trick to finding poop, right?

Some days, I feel the skill ceiling that is being able to best Spooble at his game of poop hide-and-go-seek. I'll look all around, following the urate trails, but then never find the rest. Well...Not for some days. So what is your trick? Assuming you're not doing bioactive with a clean up crew that handles the duty.

I'm really surprised at how clean my chams are! They both poop in the same area of their cage 90% of the time... I actually did a deep clean of Mr. Jack's cage on the weekend because there was a smell I couldn't identify since around the time I got him. I thought I was missing poops or something... But it was the new brand of "scented" poop bags I bought for my dog around the same time! 🤨 I kept the extra boxes a few feet from his cage. 🤦‍♀️

My guy just goes...Wherever! Sometimes he'll do it in the same general place for a few days, but discover a new place the next day.
You're lucky they have designated toilets, so to speak 😅

I guess I'm lucky too. Mine doesn't like to go in his cage. He will stand in the corner and push on the door. I open it, he climbs out onto the top of the door, sticks a back leg out and I catch it with a paper towel. Obviously I dont get every one, but it's usually down in front where I didn't notice him patiently waiting to come out.

Omg @jeevisieb what's your definition of lucky!!! That does make clean up easy, but it's so funny he demands bathroom time of you.

I have my feeders in a cup. I'd be hesitant to let my chameleon eat anything that just ate his waste but xD I guess that's nature?

Yeah one of those things where it’s best avoided but chances that anything negative will come from them eating feces is really low. Mostly a problem when they keep reinfecting themselves with parasites.

In the wild they eat a lot of beetles which are probably feeding on all sorts of nasty things

My guy only eats from a cup too, but when we got him, he had a minor pinworm infection, so I'm not mad about his insistent bathroom time. Haha. I do question who trained who. 😉
