The plastic mesh that let's silkworm poop fall through...

Hello...

I have been trying to find the plastic (some say PVC) screen that goes under the silkworms and food and allows the poop fall through for easier clean up...Where can I find it and what is it called? I've been to Home Depot and Lowe's but the people I've asked aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack and still haven't found it..Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I went to Michaels(craft store) and found it in the knitting section.

Exactly.
It's a craft supply item.
People use it to weave yarn through and make handbags or
carriers for your bingo markers
Check Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

It's proper term is "Plastic Canvas".

You can find it in craft stores as well as in hard-crafts sections of any (evil) Walmart.

Howdy,

There are several different hole sizes. The one that works well for medium silks and larger is:

That is the largest hole size that I've found so far. You want to use the smaller hole size for smaller silks otherwise you'll have too many fall through. Don't forget to raise the screen at least several inches above the container bottom. I used to use egg crate underneath but now I use plastic instead.
