He ate the other one, which was slightly smaller.... So I guess this one will be for tomorrow I just ordered him a cup of horn worms from 'southcentral feeders' on facebook....

.... The funny thing was the worm he ate had a death grip on the vine, he went to shoot and retract his tongue and he about pulled himself off the branch! Talk about a grip! I can't think of the vine but it's got a gritty like texture to it. I think chief was a little surprised!!!

Reminds me of the time I was holding Monty and held a cricket in front of him.

He just wanted to hand-walk so he grabbed the cricket and then "threw it" down but he was really just trying to get to my hand lol.

I found that if you dust the hornworms feet with your supplement for that day, they cant grab as easily, making it less attached to its branches.

These pictures are cute! My veiled doesn't have a tongue, so he has gotten in the habit of biting the hornworms and then pulling them out and holding them with a hand while he gets it in the proper position to eat it. I'll have to take a picture next time he does it! Looks like he is smoking a cigar!
