temperature for newborn jacksons chameleon?

hello my female xanth jacksons cham gave birth to 8 little ones this morning and i found them in her cage about an hour ago, i know she gave birth this morning because i cheacked on her last night and there was no babies. i just finished with there set up. i got some info online but im having a hard time finding the temperature for newborns. i read that it should be round 74f with a basking of 80f but that doeasnt sound right. i think thats too hot for newborns? i also read that they can over heat. can anybidy give me some info about the temps for newborns?

The information you found is good - I kept my baby Jackson at 80 degrees. They can overheat and this is plenty warm enough for them. They should also have a drop in temsp at night of at least 10 degrees too. Humidity and hydration is also really important for these little guys.
