So it’s been colder then usual where I live which has caused my temps to be lower then usual. Should i increase my basking bulb from 50 watt to 75 watt bulb ?

Here in uk i change from 50w in our short summers to 75w in spring & autumn (fall) & even go as high as 100w in winter. Its whatever is needed to achieve desired temperature. I do use a thermostat that shows me the percentage the bulb is dimmed so if its running at 100% without reaching my basking temperature for a few days i up the wattage. Likewise if its reaching temperature but dimming more than 40% i lower the bulb wattage. Just remember not to touch bulbs with bare hands use a cloth or glove to stop natural oils to shorten bulb life😃
