Taz the two horned fisher's chameleon <3

He probably ran up to your head because he was nervous and they like being up as high as they can get when they feel nervous of their situation. My quad, Cornelius, always shys away from me and tries to get away from me if I try to get him out of his cage, but once he is out on my hand, he tries to go up my arm to the top of my head.

ah ya, i agree because as he was running up my arm he threw up some black spots and what i am guessing is stress coloration but turned bright green as soon as he made it to the 'peak'. By the way, Cornelius is a totally awesome chameleon name, totally matches the animal!

I actually tried my best to be nice about it instead of a dick. You created 3 seperate threads in which you make constant posts with no one else posting ..minutes apart. it gets annoying when people have legitimate questions seeking answers and people are constantly up'ing a thread that is in the wrong section. I hope you see where I'm coming from.

i feel your pain about Canada though... it is extremely hard to find anything around here. atleast I'm lucky enough that chroma and trinity chameleons are within an hour of me

hey junior, we dont cuss around on the forums. just letting you know. :)

i have a male multi as well that does the same thing as your quad. only you are wrong about this girl's multi being nervous. it is a "love people" personality. he litteraly tries to "horn" his way through the cage just to be with you. and has also been somewhat of an influence for her male veiled, who hates people, but is slowly seeing trust between this keeper and her fischer's, and is making progress towards liking to be handled.
I was actually refering to the post by EmanSami about his veild, not Taz :p.

i know man, lol thats why i erased the post. looks like i didnt do it in time.

to lisa. realy eh? yaay go ontario. chams get rediculous around here sometimes in price. what do keepers breed that way?

why thank you. yes he is a handsome little fellow. He is my newest addition and i'd say i've had him for little better than a month now. He's a very strangely content and friendly chameleon. He's never hiding even though his cage is very dense foliage. Yes i agree that this species is very under rated as well. They have beautiful coloration and speckled and patchy patterning. He consists of dark forest green and brown to vivid yellow green and blue, also with some purple on ocasion.
Their tails are pretty wicked too, their like little monkey tails! so long lol! My little taz is pretty shafty with thoes big horns of his, he likes to use them to try and pry the screen open when im trying to keep him in the cage while i mist, or he'll like to give then a good rub down on my arm from time to time lol.

Hey veiled owner 87, u seem like a pretty great guy ;)

Trying to find more uncommon species in our location of canada is like trying to figure out the mystery of where the 3D doritos went. mostly veilds and panthers are readily available here, and even they have their scarce seasons as well. Its a shame because most of the stores around here really don't knwo how to take care of the chameleons and it's so heart breaking. My boyfriend and i want to rescue all of the chameleons we see :(

They don't. Everything here is imported. There's a couple of folks breeding a pair of panthers, but I've only heard about them. I've heard of a guy that breeds a lot of veileds, but I haven't seen any of those either.
