There's no telling how many chameleons we walked by everyday and didn't even see them.

We found allot of chameleons here in the trees by the edge of the beach

Great! Beautiful! Thanks for posting the photos, Jann! What a difference between the village and resort! Awesome Nosy Be Sunset picture!

Thanks again!

Deb

Great photos and thank you for sharing Jann! Loved all the pics of pardalis you took as well.

I hope to be able to make a trip to Maddy before there is nothing left to see, such a shame things are going the way they are there...

What beautiful pics! That sunset was gorgeous! You mentioned seeing some chams, but did you not photograph any of them?

Thanks for the comments.

Max we did photograph some Bradypodions in Cape Town but I just haven't has the chance to go through all those photos and pick a few to post but I will get those up next.

Those pics are absolutely amazing, Jann! I'm blown away by the vibrancy of the colors and the dichotomy between the resort and the village. I'm sure they'd pay you to come back and make a brochure for that resort - I'm sold on visiting based on your photos! :D

So cool(but sad sometimes) to see the way other people live in different places. Makes you appreciate what you have!! The resort is beautiful! Looks like you had an awesome time!

I love the bar stools! Very cute!!! Beautiful shots of the island. That's how I pictured it in my imagination. Shocking contrast to the main island! Thanks again for sharing!

oh my gosh Jann, your pics are amazing, it must of been the trip of a lifetime!!!! im sooo glad all went well on it and at home, while you were gone!!!!!
some of the beach and island/beach shots remind me of the scenery in the Tom Hanks movie "Castaway"!!!! just beautiful!!!!
the resort looked amazing, nice pool and bar close by, necessities for me!!!! ;) whats the aluminum wrapped around the tree trunks "keeping out"?
also,,, i would love to know what they served you all for Thanksgiving Dinner?

Lisa, The coconuts are precious food there and the aluminum is keeping any wildlife from getting the coconuts. The chef at resort restaurant prepared a feast for us. It was my favorite Thanksgiving ever. All I had to do was eat and I stuffed myself. The chef didn't have a turkey but we had chicken, carrots, green beans with almonds, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green pea soup, rolls and the most wonderful dessert with a variety of sweets on our plates such as chocolate cake, ice cream, praline, coconut cluster and a thin cookie. I have gained weight. :)
