Swollen and film over eye

Finally got him to a vet. Need give him shots for the infection for 3 weeks and drops for his eye. Hopefully it starts working fast. Got him to eat 3 super worms. Still have to hand feed until he can see properly. Very hard because he can barely see so he doesn’t always shoot his tongue because he has zero aim. Wish him luck

Once you get him on the mend, I'd highly recommend a husbandry review - that way we can take a look at your care methods and suggest things you can do in order to avoid further infection, and best recovery.

Did the vet get all the puss out of the big bump on his nose? Just an antibiotic is not going to heal that. It needs to be cleaned out and then have an oral antibiotic and an antibiotics cream for external use. Below is a very good vet that knows a lot about chameleons.

Chameleon pus is almost a cottage cheese texture and the antibiotic will not penetrate it to kill it. It has to be cleaned out well.

Also the most likely bacteria involved is Pseudomonas aeruginosa and it’s very difficult to get rid of anyway.

A culture and sensitivity test would tell you the bacteria involved so you could use the appropriate antibiotics to get rid of it instead of the vet just picking one he/she thinks will work.
