Still no poo, she's not eating well and she is really dark=(
Could it be cause she's in pain? What I remember from my surgery, they stop giving you painkillers but it still freaking hurts
nah they didn't give anything. Poor thing is hiding most of the time. Don't know if she's drinking or not, I never see her drink. She eats silkies though, so it can't be all bad. I'll phone the vet tomorrow if she doesn't poop.Did they give you anything for her? Oral pain killers or antibiotics? You could try phoning to vet and seeing what they say. Is she drinking?
hopefully she will. I can't afford another vet bill at the momentGood news that Ripley is doing well after surgery, and now you don't need to worry about laying bin stuff for her ever again. A few more days to get over the worst of it and I'm sure she'll be a nice bright green again.
P.s. Nice names - when I was a kid I had mice called Ripley and Hicks. I kept one of the babies and he was called Drake![]()

cheers! My next dude will be called 'Dutch' ha
That's from a different film though.......Aliens first and now Predator......
If you call the vet and they give her some pain meds be very careful giving them to her, when my cham had surgery, he was still really high the next day and i gave him the tramadol and it was too much for his system and since he was high he aspirated it.
I would say just give her some space and extra treats, but monitor her carefully. Avoid as much stress as possible, give her a little TLC and hopefully she will start feeling better in a couple of days![]()
Think you are right. I'm sure if she needed more pain relieve, they'd give it to me. She's probably still in pain and hates all humans. I covered the enclosure with curtains, so she has some privacy. Going to keep supplying silkies and hope she'll poop soon. Also looks like she's going to shed soon, that would add some extra discomfort

Is she is hiding she may not be warm enough. When they are cold they go darker to absorb more heat.
