She has neopastic (cancerous) fibropapilloma. The vet said there was no evidence of viral involvement, however she said because chameleon metabolisms are slow it can be easy to miss viral involvement in them, so her tank is most likely going to have to be stripped (hopefully I won't have to worry about it for years). So i'm bummed out. It's not a death sentence, the vet said we can remove the growths (she said they may core out like the one on her head) if they get too big or bother her, but they won't stop developing, at its possible it could spread into her chest. Doing the surgery for the biopsy felt like a lot on her, so i don't know if I want to do it again. Luckily, none of the growths are particularly big or bothersome right now, and Poppy doesn't seem really affected by any of it.
